This is an 18-bed ward special for maternity services. It is well equipped to accommodate and monitor fetal and maternal well-being. The ward attends to antenatal clients, labor clients, delivery clients, and postnatal clients. The ward also has a kangaroo ward.
This ward has three delivery beds, one waiting bed, suction machine, infant radiant warmer, oxygen machine, digital weighing scale, and autoclave, amongst other state-of-the-art equipment. The ward provides for a safe environment during the childbearing process, and dignity to all mothers is preserved. This ward has qualified and well-trained nurses who work side by side with a nursing officer and medical officer to ensure that all women and unborn babies receive all the necessary medical care and attention. The ward has a ratio of 1:3 and adequate hospital attendants to assist with patient care.
This is a 6-bed ward dedicated to antenatal care. The ward has experienced midwives who work together with our medical officer to care for mothers admitted to the antenatal ward.
This is a two-bed ward special for children who have various conditions that they may need help with their breathing. Occasionally, if a child’s condition changes, they might be transferred to another ward.
The facility has a six-bed ward where women and their babies are provided with medical care immediately after the birth of the baby.
The ward is comprised of eight beds, an oxygen machine, and a nurse’s station. The ward is managed by highly qualified and experienced nurses, medical personnel, and hospital attendants at all times. The ward is highly monitored to ensure infection control measures. Children admitted to this ward range from zero to fourteen years old. The nurse-patient ratio in this ward is 1:4.
The female ward has nine beds, an oxygen machine, and a nurse’s station while the male ward (general ward) has seven beds, an oxygen machine, and a nurse’s station as well. The nurse-patient ratio in these wards is 9:1 and 7:1 respectively.
The outpatient department is where all medical personnel are based. The department strives to provide medical care and attention that is of high standard and to the highest expectations of our clients. Clinicians and nurses who facility all clinical needs of clients behave in a professional and caring manner, making sure that clients’ needs are met. The OPD runs from 07:45hrs to 16:30hrs, Monday to Friday and 7:45hrs to 12 noon on Saturdays. The department has a team of Medical personnel, nurses, hospital attendants and administrative staff Clients from the OPD may seek medical attention as self-referral or as referred by a general practitioners or other specialists. From the OPD patients are either treated as outpatients or admitted to the wards.
Our Dental unit has a well-trained and experienced dental therapist who is available from Monday to Friday. Our dental department has state of the art equipment that include two dental chairs, an auto craves, dental x-ray, compressor and an amalgamator amongst other state of the art equipment. We offer the following dental services; tooth extraction, tooth filling, root canal therapy, scaling and polishing, dental health education, incision and drainage, all simple dental procedures.

Our pharmacy specialists are also registered and authorised by the same regulatory board.
The hospital’s laboratory is well organised, and has an environment that is safe to both our laboratory specialists and clients. Our laboratory boasts of carrying all common tests that are done at any hospital in Malawi. We are constantly maintaining high standards and quality services in all tests provided.

Billing is done in real time for outpatient department clients. For clients that have been discharged, it might take up to 45mins to come up with a final bill for the services accessed. We advise our clients to be patient with us during our billing process. The facility accepts the following payment methods;
